Bodine’s Landscape Services is seeking a dedicated and organized Administrative Assistant to support the daily operations of our office. This position serves as the first point of contact for clients, vendors, and team members, playing a vital role in maintaining smooth communication and efficient administrative processes.
We are looking for someone who takes initiative, thrives in a detailed environment, and takes pride in keeping things running seamlessly behind the scenes. The ideal candidate is professional, self-driven, and enjoys creating systems that make a business stronger every day.
Responsibilities
· Answer and route incoming phone calls; take detailed and accurate messages
· Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries and quote requests via email
· Maintain human resources records, assist with onboarding, and support personnel documentation
· Prepare and edit proposals and correspondence as directed
· Manage payroll processing and related administrative tasks
· Organize and maintain filing systems, both digital and physical
· Assist with daily office operations to ensure efficiency and accuracy
· Perform other administrative and office duties as assigned
Qualifications
· Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
· Previous administrative, office management, or human resources experience is a plus
· Excellent telephone etiquette and interpersonal communication skills
· Exceptional written communication, spelling, and proofreading abilities
· Proficiency in Microsoft Word and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
· Experience with QuickBooks preferred
· Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
· Self-motivated, reliable, and eager to take initiative to improve processes
· Professional demeanor and ability to represent the company positively to clients and partners
